Sedation Dentistry By Thomas Peltzer DMD Allows Maureen To Have Anxiety Free Dental Sedation Treatment

That “subconscious” little voice in the back of your head tells you you should  go to the dentist. Yet, your “conscious” mind tells you not to call because you harbor fear of the dentist. You’re not alone! Sedation Dentistry is the answer.

Last week, I treated one of our valued staff members, Maureen, with sedation dentistry while she blissfully slept through her appointment. All because she had me as her sedation dentist providing dental anesthesia to her for her new cosmetic dentistry bridge.

Maureen could have endured the appointment without the benefit of dental sedation. But she thought, “Why should I?” She elected to have her cosmetic dentistry done with sedation dentistry.

Afterwards Maureen felt great and was astonished at how well everything went. She has worked with me for years and is very familiar with sedation dentistry since she discusses dental sedation daily with patients as part of her responsibilities.

Even more rewarding was the pleasant fact that she didn’t remember a thing about the appointment because sedation dentistry has a strong, and pleasant amnesic effect. Benefit? Maureen doesn’t even remember a thing about her treatment. Several of her coworkers assisted me while we administered dental sedation and treated her to a beautiful new tooth colored porcelain bridge.

Sedation dentistry helps people achieve the dental care they want and need comfortably and while completely unaware of the procedure. Can it get any better than sedation dentistry?

You would never consider having your tonsils or appendix operated on without sedation. Why should complex dental care be any different? Sedation dentistry is the answer!
